Hello, my name is Vijay Shahane, a seasoned engineer, strategist, and educator with 40+ years of cross-functional experience, including serving as CEO of a publicly listed company. With a strong track record in leadership, strategy, and transformation, I mentor future leaders as a professor and conducts executive training to enhance organizational performance.
Drawing on decades of experience across industry, academia, leadership, and mentoring, I work as a Strategic Thinking Partner through a distinctive Mentor-in-Residence approach. I don't believe leadership challenges come with ready-made answers. My role is not to tell leaders what to do, but to help them think more clearly about what matters, what may be overlooked, and what could be possible.
I work as a trusted sounding board, reflective challenger, and Strategic Thinking Partner—creating the space for leaders to step back, examine assumptions, navigate complexity, and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
My Mentor-in-Residence approach is grounded in one simple principle: the greatest value of an engagement should remain within the organisation.
